Career History
Minneapolis, MN— 2022-Present
Research Assistant, Mapping Prejudice Project, University of Minnesota Libraries
My work focuses on the intersection of data, geovizualization and storytelling through collaborative support on story map projects, and through independent research on the connection between the development of zoning laws and racially restrictive covenants. I have gained insights into community engagement, crowd-sourced data management through Zooniverse workflows, and have worked developing meta-data from large datasets with Python scripts.
May 2022 - Present
Vice President, Geographic Information Science Student Organization; University of Minnesota Twin Cities
As VP I worked with developing professionals at various stages of their educational journey to create a student led group that promotes GIS at the U of M. We developed a regular coffee hour for networking and homework help, and I worked with event subcommittees and our treasurer and grant writing team to develop, plan, budget, and execute the GISSO Career Fair; and all day event with professional speakers and representatives from 28 GIS related companies and organizations from across the state and country.
Brooklyn, NY— 2016-2019
Beverage Program Director, Facilities and Maintenance Manager, Berg’n
Working closely with the General Manager I developed menu concepts and original seasonal cocktails as the beverage program director, was responsible for the weekly company wide newsletter, cost and profit reports, and inventory and ordering at this large, high volume beer-hall and food market. I managed and trained staff and maintenance teams, taught beer tasting classes, built and repaired furniture and equipment and maintained a clean, safe and respectful work environment.
Provincetown MA — 2013-2016
Co-Founder, Peregrine Theatre Ensemble
Working with a small creative team I helped develop this non-profit company from staged readings to the current fully developed summer season. As a co-founder I wore many hats and picked up various skills along the way to ensure projects were completed on time and within budget. In addition to directing and acting I supervised designers and crews, designed and implemented lighting plots, created and maintained sound design, and oversaw the general maintenance of the theater while contributing to creative meetings. Other duties included writing grants and organizing fundraisers for the season.
Wellfleet MA — 2015
Extras Casting Coordinator, Year By the Sea Productions LLC
After a short term with McCorkle Casting in New York I was recommended and hired to be the on-set extras casting coordinator with this SAG feature. I worked closely with the production team in the office to cast and hire up to 200 extras per day over the shooting schedule, while responding to creative changes and immediate needs to ensure the director's vision was met. I developed character spreadsheets with the AD and PM to meet demands on schedule, and organized on location sign-ins and talent allocation while ensuring SAG contract compliance.
Provincetown MA — 2015
Assistant Director, Ribbons Film
On this short film exploring the impact of the AIDS crisis in Provincetown, MA, I was responsible for producing the shooting script, creating a shooting schedule, and kept the film on track and on schedule. I worked closely with the director to realize the vision of the film while adapting plans to the unpredictable demands of film production. I also oversaw the film crew and DOP to shape the final product in keeping with the initial vision.
New York, NY— 2008-2010
Assistant Director and Teaching Artist, Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival Educational Tour
I assisted the director Christopher v. Edwards with scheduling, rehearsal managment, note-taking, blocking and fight choreography. I organized company transportation and worked with stage management in directing load-in and load-out of sets and equipmentat multiple performance sites and schools over the 3 month run. I also acted as a Teaching Artist with the tour over two seasons, designing lesson plans and conducting workshops and classroom lessons with highschools and colleges in the Tri-State area.

Brooklyn, NY— 2019-2020
Bartender, Livingston Manor
This is the most recent bartending position I have held in my 13 years of experience. Duties as a keyholder included: opening and closing solo, managing crowds while excecuting craft cocktail orders, and handling all money and paperwork for the shift. I used my knowledge of the local craft beer scene and my proficiency with craft cocktails to build a base of loyal regulars.
